I Guess I Released Another Book Today
…or maybe it was yesterday?
I’ve had this book, HIVE, “done” for a while but it wasn’t quite done. It needed more proofreading, which means a bit more to redo the ebook, and then I shifted gears with ISBN numbers et cetera.
Anyway, I pulled the trigger and it’s available on Amazon right now. If you’re interested but don’t want to buy it from Amazon, that’s cool. It’ll be at other retailers starting next week (thanks to me shifting gears with that ISBN thing). Don’t worry, I’ll remind you about this book soon enough.
And then I’ll remind you again.
I’m glad it’s done but I’m also going to write four more books to complete the story. Why’s that? Well, since you asked, I’ve imagined a future world with several story lines, and I think I’ll need five 50,000+ word books to tell all the stories.
So what’s it about? Glad you asked…
In a not-so-distant future, after climate disasters, plague and war have wiped out most of humanity, a single corporation has taken control of everything. In one of the last remaining cities, two teenagers try to take control of their fate before they have to opt-in to the corporation’s terms of service and give up all their decision making.
They want to escape, but it won’t be easy. The corporation watches everything you do, records everything you say.
But there is a resistance group and if these two mixed up kids can just make contact, maybe they can find happiness.
If you read it, I hope you enjoy it.
